Entrance at the JRC

In order to enter in the JRC you will need to have an entrance permission that needs to be requested in advance. Please contact Maria.CALDEIRA-GUIMARES∂ec.europa.eu to organize your visit and for information about the entrance permission, hotel booking and transfers.

How to reach us

JRC is not easy to reach by public transport from the nearest airports and train stations.

Therefore, the JRC has a taxi service that is offered to visitors. It is possible to organize the transfers from the following airports and train stations:

• Milan Malpensa airport
• Milan Linate airport
• Lugano (Switzerland) airport
• Sesto Calende train station (the closest)
• Varese train station
• Milan Central station

Exceptionally the transfers can be organized from other places.

Accommodation

JRC has preference rates with the hotels bellow but the room(s) should be booked through the JRC contact and not directly to the hotel.
