Genève-Cointrin is the nearest airport. The train to Lausanne (from the station adjacent to the airport) takes approximately 40-60 minutes.
Zürich airport is also another possibility. The train to Lausanne takes approximately 2h30 min.
Lausanne is well connected by train with several other major cities both in Switzerland and neighbour european countries. Connections are available daily to Zürich, Basel, Bern, Genève, as well as Milan, Paris, Lyon, Munich.
