FDM fused deposition modeling

Nano to Micro/Macro (3D shaping)

The available FDM technologies cover a wide range of possibilities both in term of processable materials and samples dimensions. It is possible to realize from micrometers to hundreds of centimetres objects using thermoplastic polymers, composites, hydrogels and also Polymer/continuous fiber composites.

  • Flashforge Creator Pro is equipped with a versatile dual extruder that allow printing a wide range of materials, including ABS, PLA, HIPS, Flex, T-glass, and composites. The main features of the machine are: build volume of 227×148×150 mm, Max. extruder temperature: 260°C, Max. heated bed temperature: 120°C, Printing Speed: 100 mm/s, Nozzle size: 0.4 mm and minimum layer height 100µm
  • CreatorBot F430 is high temperature 3D printer for processing high performance materials. F430 equipped with dual extruders, the left 260°C hotend is able to print with PLA, ABS, PC, Nylon, etc. The right 420°C hotend is made of martensite steel, which is able to print High performance material like PEEK and PEI.
  • I3D PivotMaker FULL allows realizing large objects and prototypes in a single print. The main features of the machine are: very large build volume (850x850x850 mm), resolution layer Z axis: 100 – 500 µm, filament diameter 1,75 mm, Nozzle diameter 0.4, 0.6 and 1 mm, Heated bed till 100°C, extruded temperature of 300 °C, heated chamber till 50°C, dual printing extrusion and printing speed 10 – 80 mm/s.
  • Markforged Mark Two which is a FDM 3Dprinter able to print polymer object with continuous fibres reinforcement. The main features of the machine are: build dimension 320x132x154 mm, Z-axis max resolution 100 µm.

Anisoprint Composer A3 uses Composite Fiber Co-extrusion (CFC) technology. CFC technology continuously mixes carbon fiber to the plastic filament that it is 3D printing. CFC technology makes the material 20 times stronger than polymer, 7 times stronger than polymer composites, and 4 times lighter than titanium. Composer A3 offers a build volume of 420 x 297 x 210 mm.
