NFFA is planning a major upgrade of services to realize the first hybrid infrastructure on nanoscience blending access to instrumentation and theory with advanced algorithms improving both the operation of the infrastructure and the research workflows.
The implementation of the FAIR-by-design protocols throughout NFFA, the interconnection of the MetaRepo with the EOSC nodes, the automation of some research steps, the development of dedicated digital tools for augmenting the research outcome and reproducibility, are the key elements of the vision for expanding, consolidating and ensuring long-term perspective to NFFA-Europe/NEP services.
