Professor of Physics at Università degli Studi di Milano and Coordinator of H2020  NFFA-Europe at CNR-IOM, Trieste, Giorgio Rossi has just been appointed new Chair of the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures - ESFRI.   He shall hold the position starting on 1st July 2016, once the implementation of the 2016 ESFRI Roadmap is completed. It is a great success that crowns a long period of intensive and productive effort.
