Contract
The kind of contract, for 1 year extendable, will be adequate to the expertise and competences of the candidate.
Activity
Support to the technical management of the H2020 EU project NFFA-Europe|Pilot and of the PNRR project NFFA-DI. The position will be opened at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), Istituto Officina dei Materiali (IOM) in its premises in Trieste (Italy), under the supervision of dr. Cristina Africh. In particular, the successful candidate will support the daily management of the project activities, the partnership, the interaction with the funding agencies, and the technical management of project reports and deliverables.
Requirements
Education: MSc degree (equivalent to Laurea Specialistica or Magistrale) preferably in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, Biology, etc.). Candidates with MSc in Economy or Law or Humanities could be considered only in case of prior specific experience in project management in the scientific or academic sector.
Minimum Expertise
- Previous experience in the technical management of international, European, national and/or regional projects;
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
- Excellent knowledge of the main software packages (MS Office, browsers, videoconferencing platforms etc.)
Added values
- Direct experience in scientific research, possibly but not necessarily in the nanoscience and/or nanotechnology sector
- Good knowledge of Italian language for foreign candidates
In the evaluation process the following activities will be also considered
- At least six-month-long stays in foreign Countries for study or work purposes;
- Additional knowledge of other official EU languages.
