Public competition for the recruitment of 1 researcher with a fixed-term employment contract for three-year research program in the area of innovation initiatives.
The project aims to implement the first facility in Italy for surface magnetic imaging based on SEM scanning electron microscopy and field-emission probe scanning microscopy with spin polarization analysis (SEMPA and SFEMPA), to study nanostructured quantum materials in situ. The acquisition of images and metadata will be developed, according to FAIR-by-Design criteria, in collaboration with NFFA-Europe partner eXact lab srl. Research on quantum materials and FAIR data are goals of innovation. The scientific activity will take place both in Milan, in the new spin-resolved imaging laboratory, and at the NFFA installations of the CNR-IOM in Trieste.
