TALES FROM OPEN ACCESS LABS
Registrations: https://www.triestenext.it/tc-events/tales-from-open-access-labs
Research infrastructures (RI) have currently assumed a crucial role, allowing scientists to access expertise and advanced tools made available at cutting-edge laboratories, creating lasting collaborations and opening the path to fast innovation and professional growth.
NFFA is a RI that provides free-of-charge combined access to different methods in the field of nanoscience with the participation of over 20 leading European Institutes. As nanoscience research is a meeting point between different skills and interests, users from a wide range of scientific fields can submit multi-technique and multidisciplinary research proposals with various applications: from electronic devices of the future, to biophysics for innovative medicine, to solutions for sustainable energy.
The session presents the opportunities that this type of RI creates for young researchers, with an eye also to the issue of open science, a hot topic both for the scientific community nowadays and for the career of the future researchers.
Panel with
