CELLS/ALBA: CELLS built and manages the ALBA Synchrotron Light Source a 3rd generation Synchrotron Light facility near Barcelona, which has currently eight operational state-of-the-art beamlines, comprising infrared, soft and hard X-rays, which are devoted mainly to biosciences, condensed matter and materials science. Four additional beamlines are currently in construction at different level of progress.
